Wings, Blossom, Grow by Terre Fry

Hello Everyone, Terre here and today I have two projects to share with you as part of my Guest Designer Spot with Donna Salazar Designs. The first project is a layout of my little cutie Leahandra when she was about 10 months old. I really enjoy creating things using recycled cardboard. I used the Pralines & Cream Smooch Spritz and sprayed it all over the cardboard, set it aside to dry. I hand cut elements from the Donna Salazar Designer Paper line Spring in Bloom by G.C.D. Studios

and adhered them to my cardboard layout using Beacon Adhesive - Zip Dry. I die cut/embossed the S5-048 Sprightly Sprockets out of recycled cardboard and spritzed them with the Pralines & Cream Smooch Spritz, after they where dry I dusted them with the Glue Gloss and added Fairy Dust Glitter Pralines & Cream to add a shimmer to the die cuts. Using the S5-051 Fanciful Flight die cut templates by Spellbinders, I die cut the butterfly out from the Sprig in Bloom paper and added a few cream color buttons and a pearl stick pin to the butterfly to make it pop off the page.

I die cut the S4-290 Labels Fourteen paper out with the die template and added a little journaling. To finish my cardboard layout off I added some lace and cream button as a bottom border.

My second project is also created using recycled cardboard....told you I love to create using cardboard......this Springtime tag was so quick and simple but very eye catching, don't you think?

I used the same Pralines & Cream Smooch Spritz on this piece of card board, set it aside and let it dry. I hand trimmed the roses, butterflies and Spring tag from the Donna Salazar Spring in Bloom designer paper collection by G.C.D. Studios, added some Glue Gloss to the butterfly wings and sprinkled them with the Fairy Dust Glitter Pralines & Cream

See all that sparkle? I added a paper doily just under the roses and topped it off with a butterfly. Added a stripe of lace with cream buttons and tied some tulle and lace at the top of the tag.....there's my creations!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today and make sure to check out all the wonderful designer collections create by Donna Salazar....you will want to add them to your wish list! Have a wonderful Holiday weekend, be safe and God Bless our Military. Terre
