Fall Centerpiece

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to share with you today a Fall Centerpiece I created for Spellbinders using S4-158 Sunflower Set Two, S4-228 Nested Maple Leaves and S4-227 Pumpkins Nestabilities. I created the pumpkins using different types of Fall materials and then I handstitched the stitching on each side of the pumpkins, stuffed them and stitched them closed. Everyone says I am crazy because I do alot of handstitching but thats ok I love to stitch!!!! The Fall leaves are cut out using 7Gypsies paper, and the flowers where cutout using Core'dinations core cardstock, and Colorbox Ink, after I cut the flowers out, I seperated each petal and attached it to the material center with glue dots. You too can create your own Fall Centerpiece, it was fast, simple and it was all created for under $15.00. I hope each of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families. I wanted to wish my Mom, Dad & Sister a Happy Thanksgiving, wish I could be home but know that you are in my heart and I love you all very much!!!!! Hugs...Terre

Yes, It Really Is A Bra!

About 2 weeks ago Stacey asked me to alter a bra for Breast Cancer Awareness for a store in New Mexico. Last week Stacey came in the office and flung this mega pink bra my way, being the person I am and all eyes on me I said "No I am Not Going To Model This Bra" and proceeded to explain this bra was being altered for Breast Cancer Awareness. So with that being said.......I took out my Spellbinders(TM)dies S4-192 and went to work. All of the beading has been done by hand as well as all of the stitching. I can't think of a better cause to be a part of and I truly enjoyed creating this altered bra. See girls...you too can make custom designed bras using your Spellbinders(TM) dies. Hugs Terre

Spellbinders & Tattered Angels Blog Hop

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by my blog. Spellbinders & Tattered Angels has teamed up to show off some beautiful & creative ways to use both companies products. With that being said here is what I created using Spellbinders S4-232 Blossom Two, S4-011 Harvest 2 Leaves, S4-235 Fancy Tags and S5-019 Labels 8 and I used the following products from Tattered Angels Winter Trees Glimmer Screen, Wild Currant Glimmer Mist, Winter Pine Glimmer Mist, Pear Glimmer Mist and Fall Breeze Glimmer Mist. I can't forget a few of my other favorite products Heartwarming Vintage Booklet and Summertime Journal Block from Crafty Secrets, color core cardstock from Core'dinations and my yellow trim is from Chatterbox.

I created this card by taking the Winter Trees Glimmer Screen and embossing it all over the back of my color core cardstock. I sanded the cardstock and sprayed Winter Pine and Fall Breeze Glimmer Mist and set it aside to dry. I took the help want ads from our local newspaper and cut six each of the S4-232 Blossom Dies out. I took a brad and positioned the die cut out together and held them together with the brad. I sprayed the newpaper print with Wild Currant Glimmer Mist, crumpled the blossom together and heat set it with my heat tool. Be careful because the newspaper gets hot and you don't want to burn it. Once I got the shape of the flower I wanted I sprayed the Pearl Glimmer Mist on the flower and I set it aside to dry completely, then I brushed some stickles on the petals to add dimension and sparkle. I now assembled my card just adding a few touches here and there with my Chestnut Roan Chalk from Colorbox/Clearsnaps.

I hope you enjoyed my vintage card and make sure to visit my other Design Team Member, Heidi Blankenship to see what she created, you wont want to miss her beautiful card.

Thank you for visiting my blog and stop by from time to time to say hello!!!

Hugs,

Terre
