Butterfly Circles

Well hello there! Terre here with a fun and flirty card! This card was created using Butterfly Circles May the Wings Stamp set from Quietfire Designs. For my paper line today I chose to use My Mind's Eye "indie chic" paper, the blue satin ribbon is from May Arts, the beautiful bling swirls are from Want2Scrap and the die templates are Le Papillion Two and Floral Ovals from Spellbinders.

I air brushed the die template then stamped my Butterfly Circles May the Wings sentiment, it added just enough pop of color.
Thank you for stopping by my blog post today, I hope you will give this amazing stamp set a try, we would love to see what you create so make sure to find us on Facebook and show us what you create. Crafty smiles, Terre!

DIY Craft ideas – button craft blog hop

Hello and thank you for stopping by my blog today for the Crafty Ideas Blog Hop!

For my project I chose to use Button Galore's Black, Grey, White mix of buttons, I thought it fit right along with either a wedding card or even an anniversary card. I stamped JustRite Paper Crafts Elegant Damask Background stamp, added a strip of May Arts Ribbon, tied some baker twine through my Black, Grey and White buttons and topped it off with some Want2Scrap Le Creme Baby Pearls.

My sentiment is a hand trimmed piece from Elle's Studio, just perfect for this card don't you think?

You have a chance to win a Viewtainer filled with an assortment buttons and 45 feet of ribbon. (picture below)

What is a craft ideas blog hop you ask?

A blog hop is where, as a reader you check out the host blog and then follow the links to the other blogs participating in the hop. You hop from one blog to another by clicking the Designer Craft Connection logo on each page. The arrows will take you backward and forward. Leave comments if you like something, follow them on facebook, twitter or even pinterest. Most of all have fun and enjoy the projects. The designers have created projects that include paper crafts, sewn projects, jewelry and mixed -media and much more.

Just look at my side bar and you will see the logo pictured below, just follow the arrows.

To win one of the Viewtainers filled with ribbons and buttons – Leave a comment here.  The comment should contain your favorite project from the hop, and the container you would like to win. Comments need to be made by March 17th, 2013 at 11:59 eastern standard time.

Thank you and I hope you have enjoyed my Buttons galore Blog Hop project and good luck, remember to follow the link and comment on their page to win. Crafty Smiles, Terre

Designer Crafts Connection

March is National Craft month!  March 21st is the first day of Spring and Easter is March 31st so there are lots of opportunities for all kinds of projects.
The theme is: Favorite Craft Techniques, so pretty much anything goes.

To kick off March and National Craft month I decided to create a few decorative bezels with Spellbinders new Media Mixage line of products there are three total, the first one has Graphic 45 paper and some found objects.

The second one has a pin up girl palying card die cut, pearls, crush glass glitter and a Bottle Cap sticker from the Stamp Doctor along with Spellbinders Bezel.

The last one has a Heart Bezel within a Heart Bezel, I used the new texture plate from the Media Mixage line with foil and sanded to distress befor putting it in my bezel. All three bezels have been filled with Ice Resin!

The Buttons Galore challenge hop will start Saturday, March 9th.  Anyone who is not participating will be unlinked until Sunday, March 17th.

Since it's National Craft Month, there'll be a DCC Giveaway - a collection of product from FabScraps.  I've attached a photo so you can see what is included and if you'd like to include this YouTube link, I shared these products as a Trade Show find on TV.  http://youtu.be/-OZjx6Yhmg0     The video is still loading as of 1:15 CST, so you may need to wait a couple of hours.  I'll be away from home this afternoon, so I won't be able to check that it uploaded ok until late tonight (if I remember).

To enter to win, readers have to check out DCC blogs then comment on the blog that features their favorite crafting technique then tell me what it was on my blog, Life in the Craft Lane.  Don't forget to "like" their FB page here:  http://www.facebook.com/pages/FabScraps/112579348780638?ref=ts&fref=ts
