Flourishes & Spellbinders Blog Hop

We don’t need to tell you that tags and labels are two of the trendiest items to hit the card making market in a long time! And, to help you add style and pizazz to your creations, Flourishes has teamed up with Spellbinders Paper Arts to make sure you have the perfect set of stamps to match a darling set of tag style dies. Wonderfully whimsical and reminiscent of Grandma’s calico prints, Flourishes “charming” set offers three labels that coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders Grommet Tags (S4-322). Designed by Becky Fleck, you'll also find 6 beautiful sentiments and 4 accent stamps to dress up your labels! Pair that with Flourishes Country Charm Borders and you have the perfect set to make darling note cards in minutes. Flourishes coordinating Country Charm Borders set features five border strips that match the labels set to a tee. What fun!

Flourishes knew this set was a match made in heaven with Spellbinder's Grommet Tags, don't you agree?

I created a sewing journal using corrugated cardboard, recycled none the less. I spritzed my cardboard using an amazing product directly from the UK called Cosmic Shimmer Mist, the colors I used where Bronze Blush and Peacock Green and they are so yummy. I stamped the Country Charms Border on white card stock using Ranger Black Distress ink and used the Cosmic Shimmer Mist and Copic Markers to create a ruffle border on my journal and tag.

I used the button border from the Country Charm Borders and stamped them and cut them out in threes, I sewed the centers on some and added Glossy Accents to the others to give them a little more dimension.

I used several of the vintage scraps from Crafty Secrets and Graphic 45 Le Romantique pattern paper, using my Spellbinders Grand Calibur, I die cut and embossed the S4-314 Lacey Ovals. I used the Want2Scrap Lacey Ovals Nestabling to create a frame around my vintage picture.

I stamped the Country Charms Labels using my black ink and then die cut the stamped image out with the S4-322 Grommet Tags from Spellbinders and added a couple of bronze brads from Creative Impressions. Added a few stamped accents from the Country Charms Labels in the corners.
For my tag I used the same stamped border and machine stitched the custom colored, stamped border on both my tag and my vintage scrap...it really looks pretty.

I added a few crystal and earl stick pins and tied them with crinkle ribbon and vintage lace. I adhered all of my pieces down using Beacon Adhesives 3 in 1 Glue.

"L O V E" Flourishes Style...It's A Blog Hop!!!

When Flourishes first laid eyes on two of the brand new die sets fresh off the production line at Spellbinders, we just knew that we needed a stamp set to coordinate with these funky and fresh dies! Are you ready to take a peek?

This fun set just screams celebration and offers 6 different pennants and flags all designed to coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders Nested Pennants (S5-028)& Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants (S5-029). There are also 9 sentiments and 8 accents in the set that you can use to deck out your pennant shapes in fun and different ways! Want a little more to coordinate with your cards? How about our new Strips and Stripes background set? This set offers three strips to use together as one background or separate as three different strips that coordinate with our Birthday Pennants set! Since the set was just released last night, we can show you it in its entirety now!

For my "LOVE" card I not only used these amazing new stamps from Flouishes but this lovely paper called Vintage Valentine by Fancy Pants Designs , Le Cremme Baby Pearl Bling by Want2Scrap, Beacon Adhesive- Zip Dry, Memento Tuxedo Black ink ad Pink Crinkle Ribbon.
