Simply Sunday...By Leahandra

Happy Sundy everyone! Today's creations is brought to you by my 3 year old daughter, Leahandra. While in my craft room yesterday as I am rushing to meet CHA deadlines my little one said "Mommy I will help you with your project, how many do you have to do?" First thought.....come here give Mommy a hug...little cutie! Then found out she was so serious I had to give her something to do. So for today's Simply Sunday you have the creativity of my little artist......Leahandra!
Leahandra chose green color core card stock from Core'dinations, White cardstock (scraps from Mommy's trashcan) from Worldwin, Amber and Silver Rhinestones from Want2Scrap, assorted buttons from Buttons Galore and adhesive from 3L Adhesive E - Z Runner.

You can tell she watches her Mommy when she is creating just look at how well she tore the bottom of my book maker (not that I have alot of time to read)

Leahandra loves Bling! She found these spare parts of Nestabling that I used on a project and the next thing I knew she was pulling them off the clear plastic and sticking them on her project. See if my little 3 year old can work the Nestabling....anyone can!

Here is a close up of the back of her project....good thing Mommy has alot of buttons because she just couldn't decide what colors to use so she used them all.

I am so proud of my little artist because she wanted to help me with my deadlines...I told her she could do my Simply Sunday project...I hope you all don't mind....I just couldn't say no to her big blue eyes and willingness to help. Crafty Smiles Terre

PS. thank you for stopping by my blog.

Simply Sunday

It's Sunday and that means....Simply Sunday! Today  have a simple card to share with you, it was simple to make but looks like it took a lot of time because of all the detail...not true at all. I started with a 5 x 7 card base, covered the base with Graphic 45 Curtain Call pattern paper. I used my Grand Calibur™ from Spellbinders™ to die cut S4-290 Labels Fourteen from pattern paper. I added a Nestabling™ Labels Fourteen Black from Want2Scrap™ around the outer edge of the die cut and adhered it to the front to f my card with Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry. Did you know that if you don't have a die cut to match the Nestabling™ you can still use them and they look amazing either way? Just look at this close up.

You can see that the Nestabling™ Labels Fourteen Silver Rhinestone doesn't have a die cut, it is just simply placed around the other piece. I added some embellishments out of little cut out from the pattern paper along the side and using the S5-042 Fleur De Lis Doily Accent die cut and embossed out of black card stock as a border to the bottom of my card, added a couple of paper roses from JoAnn's and there you have my simple yet elegantly designed card. Thank you for stopping by my blog today and make sure to check out what the other two friends have created.

hand trimmed my kites added a little twine for the kite tail, embellished with some burlap buttons and there you have it fast and simple.

Love Does Not Consist - Simply Sunday

Welcome to Simply Sunday, if you are new to my blog every Sunday a couple of my friends and I create what we consider to be simple but easy for anyone to recreate type of cards. For more information see my sidebar and just click on the Simply Sunday Icon and follow the link for all the details.

Now for the skinny on my Simply Sunday card! Today I created this card using several of my paper scraps, I am sure we all have a few of those laying around. I stamped this beautiful image "Love Does Not Consist" by Quietfire Designs and then using my Grand Calibur and S4-229 Labels Five from Spellbinders, I taped my die template over my stamped image and then cut/embossed it, I then took my Copic Marker and airbrushed just the right color of lavender. Using the amazing Nestabling Labels Five White Pearls by Want2Scrap, I quickly added the Nestabling around the embossed edge of my die template.

My pattern paper is My Minds Eye - Green Lush Line and the card stock is from Bazzill. I tied a soft white/lavender sheer bow using some ribbon the Want2Scrap sell only on the Consumer Circuit (sorry you'll have to visit Michele Parrish at Want2Scrap for this beautiful ribbon).Using my trusty Beacon Adhesive - Zip Dry I adhered my card together and just up in the right corner of my die template I added a couple of decorative pins to catch your eye from Maya Roads and Hobby Lobby.

Make sure to check out my friends blogs to see what they have created and thank you for stopping by for this edition of Simply Sunday. Hugs Terre

Simply Sunday...Curtain Call Style

Wow can you believe that this month is already half over...where is this year going? Today I have a creative card to share with you using several of my favorites.

For my pattern paper choice I used Graphic 45 Curtain Call, I covered my card base and distressed a 4 x 4 square of the pattern paper, matted t on a piece of black card stock from Worldwin.

I stamped the Fleur De Lis stamp from PSA Essentials Frenchie stamp set, then using my Spellbinders™ Grand Calibur™, I die cut the stamped image using S4-116 Standard Circles Small, while I was at it I also die cut at the same time the S5-042 Fleur De Lis Accent border out of black card stock. I had the perfect bling to match my card, the Fleur De Lis Silver and Black Rhinestone Bling from Want2Scrap™.
Trimming the perfect creative scrap from Crafty Secrets just went perfect with this card, attaching each piece of  my creativity with Beacon Adhesives 3-in-1 Glue, added a little black silk bow using Creative Impressions silk ribbon then on to inking the edges of my finished card with Rangers Black Distressing ink. There you go one quick and simple card with several layers to look at.
