Queen of Hearts - Valentine Banner

Welcome to the Queen of Hearts Event! Here is my creation!
How exciting another Queen of Hearts Blog Hop.....here is a "Love Banner" using Quietfire Designs Calligraphic Love Bites and This Hearts Longing for You

For my project, I used Spellbinders Scalloped Pennant, Lacey Hearts and Want2Scrap Nestaboard Pennant and Nestabling Pennant along with May Arts red ribbon. To hold it all together I used Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry! To add an aged distressed look I took DecoArts Warm White paint and brushed it on the pennant. My letters are also Want2Scrap Chubba Bubba Chipboard letters painted with the Warm White paint. I thought this pennant looked perfect with the  Quietfire Designs Calligraphic Love Bites and This Hearts Longing for You don't you?

Butterfly Circles

Well hello there! Terre here with a fun and flirty card! This card was created using Butterfly Circles May the Wings Stamp set from Quietfire Designs. For my paper line today I chose to use My Mind's Eye "indie chic" paper, the blue satin ribbon is from May Arts, the beautiful bling swirls are from Want2Scrap and the die templates are Le Papillion Two and Floral Ovals from Spellbinders.

I air brushed the die template then stamped my Butterfly Circles May the Wings sentiment, it added just enough pop of color.
Thank you for stopping by my blog post today, I hope you will give this amazing stamp set a try, we would love to see what you create so make sure to find us on Facebook and show us what you create. Crafty smiles, Terre!

For my card, I used Valentine's Day/Love 2013, set of 8 stamps, there are so many wonderful sentiments in this set, it was hard to choose!

I stamped my sentiment on Spellbinders Lacey Oval Decorative Elements die template and then put WOW Black Embossing Powder over it and heat set the powder, it just made the sentiment pop! My die cuts are Spellbinders new 5 x 7 Detailed Scallops Card Creator...I just love this die template! Added some Want2Scrap Swirls Finesse White Pearls after all who doesn't love pearls? Secured all of my Kaiser Craft pattern paper with Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry and there you have it, a perfect Valentine's Day Card!
I used the Spellbinders Scalloped Heart die template and decorated the inside of my card! Now for the details of this amazing blog hop........

I Will Honour Christmas Card

Ho, Ho, Ho and all that holiday Cheer!!! Terre here with another festive Christmas card with Quietfire Designs amazing stamps. For this holiday card I used one of my favorite Christmas stamps "I will Honour Christmas". I saw this is my favorite stamp because it seems to be the one that I keep picking up and using and that's not a bad thing...right?

For this card I also use Spellbinders Create Flake Two and Create a Flake Three, dusted them with some diamond dust and there you have it, they glisten just like the fall of a new snow.
This card reminds me of an old world style Christmas and the stamp "I Will Honour Christmas" a snip it from Charles Dickens just seemed to fit this card perfectly. I adhered all of these old world pieces together using Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry. I embossed the edges of the card using WOW Embossing Poweder. The old world paper is from KaiserCraft and it fit the sentiment perfectly. The ink used for this card is Wicked Black by Clearsnaps.
Thank you all for stopping by my blog post today, I wanted to wish you all a safe and wonderful holiday with your family and friends. God Bless! Crafty Smiles, Terre

Quietfire-Christmas-2012-web
So are you ready for some creativity? I have created two projects to share with you so for my first one I used Christmas Waves A Magic Wand

I just love all the rich colors you find at Christmas, you can see from this card I have used a rich Christmas Red to create my S5-055 Layered Poinsettia and the leaves are done using a blueish green, reminds me of the Blue Spruce trees from back home in Colorado. I also love stamping on Kraft cardstock and inking the edges, perfect for your Christmas sentiment.
Here is a close up just to show off that amazing Christmas sentiment!

Are you ready for my second creation? Ok here it is!
For this tag I used Christmas Cuddlers Word Set, I used the word Snowflakes, I hand trimmed the word flake from a yard sale find dictionary and added some snowflake bling from Want2Scrap along with the Fa la la collection of Christmas paper from Lawn Fawn, can you say cute, cute, cute. This will just be perfect on someone's Christmas present!
Here is a close up so you can see all of the beautiful swirls in the word Snowflakes!

Hope you have enjoyed what I have created and don't forget to leave a comment we will be giving away free stamps on each of our blogs. Good luck! Crafty Smiles Terre

Garden Delights Blog Hop with Quietfire Design

The Quietfire Design Garden Delights Blog Buzz

I was so excited when Suzanne Cannon from Quietfire Design asked me to be a part of this amazing blog hop, I have been a fan of her amazing hand drawn stamps since a mutual friend introduced me to this amazing collection. I am sure you have seen several that you just couldn't do with out.

I used the Garden Delights Set for my card, I love the stamp that says Weed Love, I didn't use it on my card but I get a chuckle because I think no one loves weeds...lol. Here is a few close ups so you can see all the beautiful details in this amazing stamp set.

I used the paper collection Once Upon A Springtime from Graphic 45, I know that Quietfire has several of the Graphic 45 collections. I stamped my Garden Delights Set on the Spellbinders™ Beaded Oval, make sure to see all the amazing die templates that Quietfire Design carries, they match the Spellbinders™ die templates perfect.

For added accents I used Want2Scraps Swirls Finesse Pearl Bling in little bits and pieces just to give the card that added pop.

I hand trimmed the flowers, added Want2Scraps 72 Count Black Pearls to the center of the flower with a touch of Diamond Stickles to make them sparkle.

Quietfire Design would like to introduce you to their new Spring selection of rubber stamps! Each day two designers will be posting brand new artwork they have created using the new rubber stamps.

Love Does Not Consist - Simply Sunday

Welcome to Simply Sunday, if you are new to my blog every Sunday a couple of my friends and I create what we consider to be simple but easy for anyone to recreate type of cards. For more information see my sidebar and just click on the Simply Sunday Icon and follow the link for all the details.

Now for the skinny on my Simply Sunday card! Today I created this card using several of my paper scraps, I am sure we all have a few of those laying around. I stamped this beautiful image "Love Does Not Consist" by Quietfire Designs and then using my Grand Calibur and S4-229 Labels Five from Spellbinders, I taped my die template over my stamped image and then cut/embossed it, I then took my Copic Marker and airbrushed just the right color of lavender. Using the amazing Nestabling Labels Five White Pearls by Want2Scrap, I quickly added the Nestabling around the embossed edge of my die template.

My pattern paper is My Minds Eye - Green Lush Line and the card stock is from Bazzill. I tied a soft white/lavender sheer bow using some ribbon the Want2Scrap sell only on the Consumer Circuit (sorry you'll have to visit Michele Parrish at Want2Scrap for this beautiful ribbon).Using my trusty Beacon Adhesive - Zip Dry I adhered my card together and just up in the right corner of my die template I added a couple of decorative pins to catch your eye from Maya Roads and Hobby Lobby.

Make sure to check out my friends blogs to see what they have created and thank you for stopping by for this edition of Simply Sunday. Hugs Terre

Love.....Vintage Style...Simply Sunday

Thank you for stopping by for Simply Sunday, if you want to learn more about what Simply Sunday is you can click on the sidebar and see what it is all about. Today I have a very vintage card to share with you, I have been working all day on a special project and the theme is vintage so I thought I would carry it through to Simply Sunday. I used Graphic 45 Le' Romantique Collection of pattern paper, Spellbinders GC-001 Grand Calibur,  S4-314 Lacey Circles, S5-040 Floral Doily Accents, S4-210 Lattice Pendants and S4-138 Petite Ovals Large, Quietfire Designs Rubber Stamps Life Journey Words,

I have to say this card looks like it really isn't a simple card but when you have the right product it really comes together fast, for instance my Nestabling from Want2Scrap...all attached comes off as one piece so simple...you're going to love it as much as I do.

What is a good project with out a good adhesive.....my favorite is Beacon Adhesive - Zip Dry. I'm sure you all have noticed how popluar doilies are well for my card today I took Mulberry paper and die cut it with the Spellbinders Lattice Pendants and created my own doily...I am sure we all have a stash of Mulberry paper somewhere...time to get it out and use it...wink wink. I hope you have enjoyed my card today, make sure to pop over to my other two friends blogs to see what they have created for Simply Sunday.....hugs Terre
