Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat everyone! Everywhere you look Halloween is just around the corner, I for one already have my little one's costume, she is going to be a Pirate Princess...she looks so cute! I am sure you can find some really cute and spooky stamps right here at The Rubber Cafe, just like the ones featured in my card. I used H-917 You Need To Dust, D-488 You Shake my Bones, and Trick Or Treat
I stamped all of my images with black ink on Spellbinders™ S4-233 Labels Nine Die Template, I cut, embossed the label using the Grand Calibur then I air brushed the cut out with Copic markers. For my choice of pattern paper I used a selection of Halloween patterns from My Minds Eye. I added Labels Nine Nestabling™ Purple Rhinestones from Want2Scrap™ to make my Halloween scene pop. To top it all off I added yellow and orange buttons from Buttons galore down the side. I hope you have enjoyed my little Halloween card Crafty Smiles, Terre

Once Upon A Springtime.....

I think one of my favorite things is to create albums, it is easy to do when you have the right products. For this Once upon A Springtime Album I used Graphic 45 for my creative pattern paper, they have the best patterns. I used Spellbinders™ S4-328 Foliage die template as the leaves are so detailed when you cut, emboss and use the as a stencil. For the bling detail around the fairies wings and centers of the flowers I used Want2Scrap™ bling, the wing album is also from Want2Scrap™, they have the most amazing chipboard albums.
To adhere my pattern paper to the chipboard album I used Beacon Adhesive Zip Dry, it is fast drying and easy to clean up.
Each page of the album has so many details, from single rhinestones to cut out embellishments.
Using Want2Scrap™ bling is easy as the large pieces come off in one single piece for easy application.
For this page I took Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Glue and brushed it on the page with a paint brush to make it shimmer, adds just the right amount of glimmer.
When I am creating these albums I like to cut multiples of the same character and layer them to add dimension, like have done to the rabbits.
I sanded the edges of each wing page and added Clearsnaps Chestnut Road Fluid Chalk to give the album that worn look.
Adding just the right amount of Black Swirls keeps your eyes moving from one detail to the next. I just love how easily the pages flow.
Using as many scraps as possible, I created and aged strip just under the main focal point on the page, it is easy to crumble a strip several times and run an ink pad across it to capture the high and low spots with ink.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you are inspired to create your own Once upon A Springtime Album. Crafty Smiles...Terre

Fall Is In The Air

Happy Friday Everyone......I can't wait for Fall to come to Arizona. This weeks challenge was to create an elegant fall themed project..I had to be kind of creative with my stamp choice as my stamps are MIA so with that being said I used a couple stamps that you wouldn't  think are Fallish but hey it worked for me. I took a standard cream colored tag and used I-987 18th Century Proclamation and D-436 Imagine from The Rubber Cafe. Stamped the entire tag with I-987 and then blended my Donna Salazar inks to create a rich and creamy aged look.

I cut and distressed a few creative scraps from Crafty Secrets, adhered them to my tag with Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry and added a Maxi Mocha Swirl from Want2Scrap™, I also distressed then edges of the tag too, I admit I love to distress everything, not that you could tell.

I stamped Imagine on a new tag from Spellbinders™ S5-073 Orchard Harvest Tags and Accents, the leaves from this collection where die cut out of  F-012 Precious Metal Foil, Thank you for stopping by The Rubber Cafe's blog today, I hope you enjoyed my creativity today and look for some wonderful Fall stamps right here at The Rubber Cafe. Oh Paris.......

I had so much fun creating my Paris wall hanging, I decided to keep the same theme with the challenge over at The Rubber Cafe. This weeks challenge was to create a project using stamps as your background paper, in other words not pattern paper allowed!!! So I the one who never uses embossing powder, did I say that out loud? Yes I used embossing powder in fact I am still cleaning it up.  I just love these new stamps from The Rubber Cafe, I-984 Pattern Royale, note used as my background paper, embossed. Also another favorite is I-985 Paris Nights, they both worked so well together to create this quick and easy card.

I stamped my image, blended some Donna Salazar custom ink by Clearsnaps and then die cut the S4-317 Fleur De Lis Rectangles by Spellbinders™ and added the matching Nestabling™ Fleur De Lis Rectangles by Want2Scrap™. Using Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry, I adhered all of my layers to the card front including attaching the bow to the front of the card.

I used some seam binding and Smooch and custom colored my own ribbon for my bow, topped it off with a few embellished decorative pins and there you have it and not a single piece of pattern paper used at all!! Enjoy your weekend and happy crafting, Terre

Thank you for joining this amazing blog hop with so many talented designers, today I have a wall hanging to share with you. I fell in love this stamp set from JustRite Stampers, Greetings From Paris
It went so nicely with the Nestaboard Classic Diamonds, Nestabling™ Classic Diamonds Silver Rhinestones put these two together with the Spellbinders™ S4-283 Classic Diamonds Nestabilities, it is a match made in Heaven!
I added 72 Count Black Rhinestones to the border and around my stamped image, as well as the centers of my buttons. It just added that finished touch to my wall hanging.
I took some vintage material and tulle and die cut S4-312 Blossom Three, folded them then stitched them by hand to create this flower. What's a flower with out some leaves, I just love this S4-328 Foliage die template, it has the most amazing embossed details and is easy to stencil through as well. I think one of my favorite die templates is S4-190 Labels Four, JustRite stamps fit this die template just perfect, after all that's how they created them.  Make sure to visit each of the designers listed for today and come back all week for more amazing creations.
