Happy Friday Everyone......I can't wait for Fall to come to Arizona. This weeks challenge was to create an elegant fall themed project..I had to be kind of creative with my stamp choice as my stamps are MIA so with that being said I used a couple stamps that you wouldn't think are Fallish but hey it worked for me. I took a standard cream colored tag and used I-987 18th Century Proclamation and D-436 Imagine from The Rubber Cafe. Stamped the entire tag with I-987 and then blended my Donna Salazar inks to create a rich and creamy aged look.
I cut and distressed a few creative scraps from Crafty Secrets, adhered them to my tag with Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry and added a Maxi Mocha Swirl from Want2Scrap™, I also distressed then edges of the tag too, I admit I love to distress everything, not that you could tell.
I stamped Imagine on a new tag from Spellbinders™ S5-073 Orchard Harvest Tags and Accents, the leaves from this collection where die cut out of F-012 Precious Metal Foil, Thank you for stopping by The Rubber Cafe's blog today, I hope you enjoyed my creativity today and look for some wonderful Fall stamps right here at The Rubber Cafe. Well, I think you made it work! LOL!! This turned out so pretty, Terre :) I just used some Want2Scrap bling (the real tiny ones) on a card that will be displayed at a Japanese consumer craft show. It was just the perfect accent for my card! Have a great weekend, my friend! xo
Oh NO -- MIA stamps is never a good thing -- LOL! I totally LOVE this & with our heat finally subsiding, we can actually use our kitchens again. Those metal foil leaves are AWESOME, as is your Nestabling, Terre!!!
Ooo, Terre, this is scrumptious! Lots of delicious layers and details!
