Nestabling™ Week with Scrap-Mart and Want2Scrap™

Hello and thank you for joining us for our very first Nestabling week!  Designers from both Scrap-Mart.com and Want2Scrap have teamed up to bring you a week long mini blog hop full of beautiful projects featuring Nestabling by Want2Scrap.  If you are just joining us, hop on over to the Scrap-Mart Blog and start there.  Before we get started with the projects, we’d like to send a special thanks to Want2Scrap for their generous donation of Nestabling for our designers to work with.

What a fun time this is going to be, week long mini blog hop involving Nestabling™? How could you not stop by each blog to see what they have created with this AMAZING Nestabling™!!! I must be in a holiday mood but in July? Go figure!!  I created this vintage Christmas Card address book using a lined journal I found on the Dollar Spot at Target, what a great gift idea and cheap too! I took pattern paper from My Minds Eye and covered the front and back, inside and out of the journal. Inked all the edges with Clearsnap Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk Using my Grand Calibur™ from Spellbinders™, I die cut S5-019 Labels Eight out of pattern paper, sanded the edges adhered one to the center of the journal cover and the other one I cut in half. I took the Nestabling™ Labels Nine Silver Rhinestone, cut it half and placed it on the the Labels Eight halves. I cut a ribbon slits on both halves and attached burgundy silk ribbon from Creative Impressions.
Do you see how easy it is to use the NESTABLING without a die cut? I tied a bow out of the silk ribbon
and set it aside for later. I die cut one piece from brown card stock, one pieces from pattern paper, making
a from from the pattern piece and the center piece from a Crafty Secrets Christmas Scrap all using S4-233
Labels Nine. I placed Nestabling™ Labels Nine Silver Rhinestone on the brown die cut and the pattern
paper piece and for the center I used the Nestabling™ Labels Nine Silver Rhinestone as a frame around the
Vintage Santa.
I added some paper flowers and die cut two leaves from the S4-328 Foliage die template, inked the edges
and adhered the leaves under the paper flowers using Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry.
I don't now about you but I love flourishes so I had to add some Swirls, Finesse Black Rhinestones from
Want2Scrap™ an to top off he cover of my Vintage Christmas Card address book I added a decorative
nob and to make the center pop, I added four 72 Count Black Rhinestones from Want2Scrap™.
I added letter tabs to the lined paper inside this Christmas Card address book using the same pattern paper
on the front. For the inside of the address book  I cut a picture of Santa from the pattern paper and added
the 72 Count Black Rhinestones around the inner edge of the cut out. I added a little sentiment from one of
my favorite Christmas Stories "Twas The Night" you know the rest.
Thank you for stopping by my blog on the very first day of this amazing Mini Blog Hop featuring you got
it!!!!! NESTABLING! See below for the remaining days and blogs to stop by, you won't want to miss all the
great creativity using this amazing product. REMEMBER......you don't have to have a DIE CUT to create
beautiful project with NESTABLING. Crafty Smiles......Terre

What's Up Cupcake!

Wow where did this week go? This weeks challenge was to create a project with a Birthday Theme. I had these cute pictures of my Niece..."Little D"....one of these days I will have to remember how to spell her first name so I hope my sister isn't viewing this post...sorry!!!! With my stamps in one hand and my ink pad in the other I created this layout using The Rubber Cafe S-102 Hey Cupcake stamp set...love it! I used only four stamps out of this 20 piece stamp set...can you believe you get that many stamps in one set...wow! I added many elements to my layout, Echo Park Little Girl collection of pattern paper as my base, Best Creations Inc. Glitter Polka Dot Paper machine stitched to my base.

I die cut S4-246 Labels Eleven from Spellbinders™ using my Grand Calibur™ stamped the The Rubber Cafe S-102 Hey Cupcake sentiments to the die cut after I cut it in half. I added the Want2Scrap™ Nestabling™ Labels Eleven Green Rhinestones. I stamped the candle and colored it with Copic Marker, added Nestabling™ Labels Eleven Green Rhinestones and one of the Nestabling™  Heart Circles Hot Pink Rhinestones around my stamped candle to create a rhinestone frame.

I placed black chipboard letters and numbers from My Minds Eye on my layout and using the
Nestabling™  Heart Circles Hot Pink Rhinestones  created frames around the chipboard. Using the cute little cupcake stamp The Rubber Cafe S-102 Hey Cupcake, I created a border just under my photos. I colored the cupcakes with Copic Markers and mixed Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry and Your So Fine Diamond Glitter to create my frosting on my cupcakes...don't they look cute? I machine stitched pink crete paper and lime green and pink/white striped ribbon from Want2Scrap™, tied a bow and added stick pins to the bow.

I hope you have found some inspiration from my layout, have a wonderful weekend and I will see you right back here next week. Smiles & Hugs...Terre

Summer Blingin!

My little Beach Babe is just soaking up all that shine from the Bling! Did you know that you don't have to have a die template to use the amazing Nestabling™ from Want2Scrap™. Take a closer look at my 8 x 8 layout, half of my project has the Nestabling™ used on a die cut and the other half does not..

I used the Nestabling™ Classic Diamonds Silver Rhinestones bling and the Nestabling™ Fancy Tags Two Black Rhinestones. I used the Grand Calibur™ from Spellbinders™ to die cut the S4-288 Classic Diamonds
Nestabilities™, I then took the Nestabling™ Classic Diamonds Silver Rhinestones and simply peeled it off the package and placed it on my die cut. I then took the remaining pieces and cut them in half to place on either side of my photo. See this is where you don't need the die cut to use the Nestabling™.

My paper choice was On The Boardwalk by Graphic 45, the colors where just perfect for this little Beach Babe. I trimmed the Beach piece and distressed the edges, inked them with some Chestnut Roan Fluid Chalk and quickly placed the Nestabling™ Fancy Tags Two Black Rhinestones. I adhered all of my pieces to my layout using Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry. I distressed the outer edge of my layout and inked the edges with black distressing ink, added some chipboard letters from My Minds Eye and glittered the letters up to make it look like sand.. To tie my layout together, so to speak, I used this really cute burlap trimmings that Want2Scrap™ only carries at the consumer shows...sorry f you want some of that you'll just have to take a trip and see Michele in person, I am sure she could help you find it. I added some 72 count Black Rhinestones on top of the burlap trimming and there you have it......my little beach babe.....Summer Blingin with Want2Scrap™. Thank you for stopping by today and make sure you check out all the amazing products, I am sure you will find one or two you just can't live without.

You Make Me Smile

Happy Friday Everyone! I hope you have had a wonderful week and are ready for another creative Friday with me! For your viewing pleasure I have this bright and colorful Summer time card that just makes me smile "wink" "wink"! This card was created using some of my favorite stamps,-1141 Butterfly Set, G-718 Vine Border and J-1095 Fabulous Phrases all from The Rubber Cafe!

I colored the butterflies with B91 and Y18 Copic Markers and attached them to my card using Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry., I added a Silver Rhinestone Finesse Swirl from Want2Scrap™ to create a swirl from the butterflies. The pattern paper that I used is from the Abby Road collection from My Minds Eye (love it) and the green polka dot pattern paper is from Best Creations Basic Glitter Paper, I thought they went nicely together.

I added a little bit of twine to the bottom of my card and stamped the vine border in black ink to make the card pop.

I stamped my sentiment on the S5-030 Fancy Tags Two from Spellbinders™, using the Grand Calibur™ I cut and embossed the die cut and embellished the die cut using the Nestabling™ Fancy Tags Two Blue Rhinestones from Want2Scrap™, doesn't that bling sparkle just make the Fancy Phrases pop right off the card?

I hope you have enjoyed my little creations today and hope that you have been inspired to create your own little project that makes you smile. Until next Friday, I hope you have an amazing weekend. Keep Crafting, Terre

Simply Sunday

It's Sunday and that means....Simply Sunday! Today  have a simple card to share with you, it was simple to make but looks like it took a lot of time because of all the detail...not true at all. I started with a 5 x 7 card base, covered the base with Graphic 45 Curtain Call pattern paper. I used my Grand Calibur™ from Spellbinders™ to die cut S4-290 Labels Fourteen from pattern paper. I added a Nestabling™ Labels Fourteen Black from Want2Scrap™ around the outer edge of the die cut and adhered it to the front to f my card with Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry. Did you know that if you don't have a die cut to match the Nestabling™ you can still use them and they look amazing either way? Just look at this close up.

You can see that the Nestabling™ Labels Fourteen Silver Rhinestone doesn't have a die cut, it is just simply placed around the other piece. I added some embellishments out of little cut out from the pattern paper along the side and using the S5-042 Fleur De Lis Doily Accent die cut and embossed out of black card stock as a border to the bottom of my card, added a couple of paper roses from JoAnn's and there you have my simple yet elegantly designed card. Thank you for stopping by my blog today and make sure to check out what the other two friends have created.

Girls Night Out

Girls Night Out gift set created using The Rubber Cafe, E-590 Fashionable Frames, J-1141 Butterfly Set and S-115 Floral Fancy. I found a set of three pink canvas bags on the dollar spot at Target so I took some Vintage Material a gift from my father-in-law's sister and using my GC-001 Grand Calibur™, S4-192 Blossom die template from Spellbinders™ and the wonderful Want2Scrap™ Heart Circles Pink Nestabling™ and Heart Circles Black Nestabling™ stamped my Fashionable Frame stamp and adhered it to the canvas bag using Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry.

I then decided to create a little invitation to invite the girls over for a Girls Night Out at the Spa.

Using Spellbinders™ LF-246 Grand Labels Eleven and S4-246 Labels Eleven, I created my card base. Stamped the S-115 Floral Fancy stamps from The Rubber Cafe using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, added  the 72 count Pink Rhinestones from Want2Scrap™,  colored the stamped image with my Copic markers and created a bow out of the vintage material.

Here is a close up so you can see the amazing J-1141 Butterfly set, I also added some pink rhinestones to the butterflies to give them some dimension. The pattern paper I chose to use was  Best Creations Basic Glitter Pink Polka Dots paper and White card stock.

I took a clear plastic recycled card box, added some pattern paper to the inside and attached the spa kit pieces to the pattern paper. Put the lid on the box and make a stamped belly band, colored the stamped images with Copic markers, added Heart Circles Black Nestabling™ and 72 count Baby Blue and Baby Pink Rhinestones from Want2Scrap™

See the custom belly band  created using the  Fashionable Frames, J-1141 Butterfly Set and S-115 Floral Fancy from The Rubber Cafe, I tied a bow using the same Vintage material and adhered it to the card box.

I hope you enjoyed my creative gift set, I am sure my girl friends would love to come to s spa day and get a handmade gift set. Thanks for stopping by my blog post, I hope you are inspired to create your own gift set. Have a wonderful weekend,  Terre
