"L O V E" Flourishes Style...It's A Blog Hop!!!

When Flourishes first laid eyes on two of the brand new die sets fresh off the production line at Spellbinders, we just knew that we needed a stamp set to coordinate with these funky and fresh dies! Are you ready to take a peek?

This fun set just screams celebration and offers 6 different pennants and flags all designed to coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders Nested Pennants (S5-028)& Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants (S5-029). There are also 9 sentiments and 8 accents in the set that you can use to deck out your pennant shapes in fun and different ways! Want a little more to coordinate with your cards? How about our new Strips and Stripes background set? This set offers three strips to use together as one background or separate as three different strips that coordinate with our Birthday Pennants set! Since the set was just released last night, we can show you it in its entirety now!

For my "LOVE" card I not only used these amazing new stamps from Flouishes but this lovely paper called Vintage Valentine by Fancy Pants Designs , Le Cremme Baby Pearl Bling by Want2Scrap, Beacon Adhesive- Zip Dry, Memento Tuxedo Black ink ad Pink Crinkle Ribbon.

Cute I Know!

So I don't know about you but these photos of my niece just screamed I need bling! After all she already knows she's cute. I blinged up this adorable layout using some Pink Pearls and Black Rhinestone Swirls (my fav's) from Want2Scrap I created the pink flower using a stamp set created by StampingScrapping  and the pattern paper if from Fancy Pants, and Beacon Adhesive - Zip Dry, Spellbinders S4-137 Classic Hearts.

I added a Black Rhinestone in the ceter of the flower, I stamped several images front and back, folded the heart images in half, adhered them together to create the flower. Thank you for stopping by to see what I created. Happy Crafting.

Love.....Vintage Style...Simply Sunday

Thank you for stopping by for Simply Sunday, if you want to learn more about what Simply Sunday is you can click on the sidebar and see what it is all about. Today I have a very vintage card to share with you, I have been working all day on a special project and the theme is vintage so I thought I would carry it through to Simply Sunday. I used Graphic 45 Le' Romantique Collection of pattern paper, Spellbinders GC-001 Grand Calibur,  S4-314 Lacey Circles, S5-040 Floral Doily Accents, S4-210 Lattice Pendants and S4-138 Petite Ovals Large, Quietfire Designs Rubber Stamps Life Journey Words,

I have to say this card looks like it really isn't a simple card but when you have the right product it really comes together fast, for instance my Nestabling from Want2Scrap...all attached comes off as one piece so simple...you're going to love it as much as I do.

What is a good project with out a good adhesive.....my favorite is Beacon Adhesive - Zip Dry. I'm sure you all have noticed how popluar doilies are well for my card today I took Mulberry paper and die cut it with the Spellbinders Lattice Pendants and created my own doily...I am sure we all have a stash of Mulberry paper somewhere...time to get it out and use it...wink wink. I hope you have enjoyed my card today, make sure to pop over to my other two friends blogs to see what they have created for Simply Sunday.....hugs Terre

Paper Creations Magazine Publication Winter 2011

This is an Autumn Wedding Ensemble I created using Spellbinders S4-202 Deckled Rectangles LG, S4-058 Daisy Heads, S4-232 Blossom Two, S4-235 Fancy Tags, S4-248 Labels Thirteen and I2-1009 Flourish Impressabilities. My Minds Eye Lush Collection pattern paper, Elizabeth Craft Designs Judi with an Eye Shimmer Sheetz in White Iridescent, JustRite Stampers Deluxe Round Monogram Kit in Times New Roman Font, Clearsnap Colorbox Fluid Chalk in Chestnut Roan and Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry.

Die cut two of each out of cardstock and mist with Glimmer Mist
Using floral craft wire, starting with the smallest of the dies beging to wrap and mold the die cuts
keep adding the die cut pieces and mold, remember to mist the cardstoock with the Glimmer Mist as the fibers are easier to work with when they are damp.
here you see how the rose is taking shape
once you are done, mist once more to mold the final pieces into shape, it really looks like a real rose, hard to beileve you have created out of cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, I hope you have enjoyed this little tutorial, let me know how your roses turn out. Hugs Terre

Thank You Kindly

Before we get started with our Simply Sunday post we would like to say Thank You so much to all of you for your wonderful comments and emails last week for our first Simply Sunday post. We had a few inquiries with people asking to be added to the blog roll for Simply Sundays and at this point in time we are not going to be adding links to other blogs. Simply Sunday is something that we want to keep as simple as possible and we wanted to personally challenge ourselves with creating simple cards and to share them with all of you. However if you decide that you would also like to take on this challenge of creating simple cards please leave a link to you blog or gallery so we can see what you created. Also by leaving a link on one or all of our blogs other people will be able to click on your link and see your creations too.

Thank you so much!
